In 1910, Edinburgh was the venue for the historic World Missionary Conference.

This was a gathering which caught an epoch-making vision of the church as a truly global missionary community.

As the centenary of this event approaches, it is time to reflect on its significance in the light of the experience of the past hundred years and the realities of Christian Mission in the 21st century. Welcome to Towards 2010 - we look forward to journeying together.

The international Edinburgh 2010 General Council will convene in Edinburgh from 17 to 20 September 2007.
